This year I get to host 17 people at my house. I am super excited since we just moved into a dream home with an amazing kitchen. I am lucky that everyone brings something. The next 6 days you will get the LANDER/ADAMS family menu for X-mas eve.
Item one made by my mom….
1-2 Turnips
1-2 Sweet potatoes
6 Carrots
3 Parsnips
2 Onions
1-2 cups Fingerling Potatoes
4 -5 larger Beets
1 cup Balsamic vinegar
1 tbs sea salt
1 tbs rosemary
2 tsp pepper
Lots of organic butter 🙂
Pre-heat the oven to 425. Cut up all the veggies as many as you want any size you want just remember the larger the pieces the longer you will need to cook the veggies. Melt the butter and pour it all over the veggies and season with the sea salt, pepper, and rosemary. Take the Balsamic the thicker and darker the better and pour it all over the veggies. Then bake until all of the veggies are soft enough to get a fork through them and the balsamic has caramelized. Make sure you stir the veggies around every 20 minutes. It takes about an hour to cook.
